Process Management

We have defined a process as series of definable, measurable and interconnected value generating activities through which a specific set of inputs are converted to an output of specific benefit for the customer. In order for successful management of and improvement of processes, all processes within the organization must be definable. This means that; individual responsible for the process should be identified, flow diagram of the process should be present, boundaries of the process should be determined, the processes' relations with other processes should be defined, standard set of the process should be formulated, and measurement system for the process should be defined. Standards formed to measure performance of the process should be independent of the solution, should be understood by everybody, should be applied consistently, should involve quality, circuit time, and satisfaction of internal and external customers, should be at costs classifications, and should perceive future developments

Process management can be defined as "a circuit which includes design of processes, maintenance of processes, and continuous appraisal of processes to meet customer needs in a better way". In summary, process management is a discipline for evaluation, analysis and improvements of key business processes founded on customer needs and wishes.
